Bruins fans certainly got to know the bizarre antics of Jaromir Jagr during his short, half-season stint in Boston this past season. With news that the B’s wouldn’t be bringing Jagr back next year, the 41-year old Czech forward has to decide what his future holds.
Jagr addressed that future by posting a really strange video to his Facebook page on Tuesday. In the low-quality video, Jagr is seen wearing sunglasses while lounging indoors like a super cool guy.
And because the video is completely in Czech, you probably have no idea what the hell he’s saying. Fortunately, we’ve got a rough translation of the video and Jagr said he will have further updates on his future on Wednesday. He also added “As for my next job here in the NHL, I have to say that I see a lot of black.”
Oooooh mysterious. Maybe he means “black” as in nothing, that he’s retiring from the league to head back to the KHL. Or maybe he means black as in an NHL team’s color scheme, the Kings are the first squad that comes to mind in that sense.
We’ll find out on Wednesday.
