Johnny Manziel has pleaded guilty to failing to identify himself to police after a fight in the Northgate district of College Station last year, according to The Eagle. Manziel will pay a fine of $2,000 as well as some court costs. The Texas A&M quarterback will not have to spend any time in jail due to serving some previous time behind bars after the June 2012 arrest.

It was announced earlier today that Johnny Manizel left the 2013 Manning Passing Academy at Nicholls State University in Louisiana due to an “illness.” There was some speculation that Manziel may have been partying, but that looks not to be the case.
This will be an interesting sophmore year for the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner. Manizel was embroiled in a minor controversy last month when he tweeted that he “couldn’t wait to leave College Station.”
