Home plate umpire Mike Muchlinski had a little trouble with his footing during the first inning of Sunday’s Mariners and Yankees’ game at Safeco Field. Muchlinski was doing his best to avoid Mariners catcher Kelly Shoppach who was chasing a Vernon Wells foul ball. The result was quite hilarious.
