We’re not sure what the deal is with the crowd microphones at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, but we’re nonetheless grateful for their sensitivity, as they’ve managed to capture some memorable audio in the playoffs. First, we were treated to the horrors of a shrieking lady sitting behind the broadcast booth during the Spurs’ Game 1 comeback against the Golden State Warriors in the conference semifinals.
Tuesday night, after San Antonio survived a similarly furious comeback from Memphis that sent the game into overtime, an elated Spurs fan delivered a reaction that immediately ranks up there with the “Good Job, Good Effort!” kid from last year’s Eastern Conference Finals.
