NFL owners today selected that Super Bowl 50 in 2016 will be played in Santa Clara (home of San Francisco 49ers new stadium) and Super Bowl 51 will be played in Houston in 2017. Houston and San Francisco were no surprise to land the bids, and Miami fell short as the only other competing bid which is also not shocking. Santa Clara, prepare accordingly.
The Bay Area will be hosting Super Bowl L at the 49ers new home in Santa Clara which has been officially named “Levi’s Stadium” as part of a recent massive $220 million deal.
