Melky Cabrera finally got his first home run as a Toronto Blue Jay, and he was treated with the old silent treatment from his teammates. As some ball clubs do traditionally, they give a player the silent treatment instead of mobbing him for a milestone or hazing treatment. The Jays felt Melky stroking his first home run as a Blue Jay deserved the cold shoulders. It made for a good chuckle.
