Some quick thinking and movement kept a father’s trip to the ballpark a success with his daughter, into what could have been something much worse. Check out this dad who was very quick on his toes and was able to deflect an oncoming Matt Wieters foul ball during Monday’s first inning at Camden Yards. The toddler had no clue there was a baseball game happening, but was just enjoying the sights and sounds. You can’t tell with 100% certainty that the ball would have hit the daughter, but would you be willing to risk that chance? That’s what I thought.
