The world’s most celebrated athlete and sneaker salesman needed a new spot to stretch out a bit and his new place in Florida should do. The “Bears Club” was developed by Golf great Jack Nicklaus. The land that the Club sits on was split into 2 sections by Nicklaus. One piece is the Bear’s Club (where MJ lives) and the other is the Ritz Carlton of Jupiter, FL. Although the two entities share the same land there is a definite gap in the “level of ball” between the residents of each. As a Ritz caddy described it:
Ritz homeowners are all millionaires, but the Bears Homeowners are billionaires
Hoverboards…MJ paid $4.8M for the land and $7.6M for the construction.
