You have to love it when sports brings out the absolute best in folks, and the below is a perfect example. During Nebraska’s spring game, Jack Hoffman a 7-year-old who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in April 2011, was given the opportunity to play running back for his favorite team. Not only did he get to play, but he rattled off a 69-yard touchdown run. The crowd’s support was as good as it gets.
Since April 2011 Jack has had two surgeries since and is now on a break for two weeks from a 60-week chemotherapy course, according to ESPN.com.
