Steph Curry was so unconscious Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden, he couldn’t even be bothered to high five his own teammates during his historic 54-point performance. The lasting image of the night was Curry strutting back on defense — after a three gave the Warriors a 100-99 lead — and blowing right past teammate Draymond Green, who was primed and ready for the what might have been the greatest high five of his life. Alas, it was not to be.
While Steph might have zoned out in that moment, he was not unaware of how his performance — missed high five, and all — played out in the blogosphere. So, on Thursday afternoon, Curry and Green got together and connected on what we call a Makeup Five. The Todd approves.
my bad @money23green. Glad we made up! mob.li/_p2aTj
