The ECHL’s Bakersfield Condors had their mascot cause some trouble prior to their game against Las Vegas Wranglers on Friday night. The condor was brought out of its cage during the National Anthem, and the large bird proceeded to break free and then make its way around the arena sending players and refs scattering. Some of the players even took turns trying to capture the animal with their sticks. The commentary is pretty great as well as the announcers have a hard time even getting a word in between their laughs. We assume that the condor was not a fan of the young lady’s rendition of the National Anthem.
