Vanderbilt’s head coach James Franklin was invited to be the guest speaker at the Central high school fall sports banquet on Tuesday night, and little did anyone expect him to be trending nationally on Twitter the next day because of his comments. During his talk, the coach called out Alabama’s head coach Nick Saban by referring to him as Nicky Satan:
“There’s this guy down at Alabama, I think his name is Nicky Satan. “You guys have probably heard of him before. I’m going to outwork him.”
The quote was seemingly out of nowhere, and we are safe to assume that Vanderbilt is probably lucky they don’t face off against Alabama in 2013.
