As part of the bet with Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Denver Mayor Michael Hancock has finally fulfilled his duties after the Bronco’s playoff loss to the Ravens.
Mayor Hancock promised Mayor Rawlings-Blake that if the Ravens beat the Broncos he would send her a box of dry-aged “cowboy cut” rib eye steaks and take a video of himself doing Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis’ signature pre-game dance. After the game, he sent the steaks, but a spokeswoman for Hancock said that he “pulled a muscle” and couldn’t perform the dance.
Well, on Tuesday, Hancock came through with the second part of the bet. Hancock performs Lewis’ dance to rapper Nelly’s “Hot In Here” — a song that was popular in the early 2000s. Why? We don’t know. But it makes the video that much better.
