Medford, Mass. donned a very specific billboard for the week leading up to the AFC Championship game. Patriots fans were so confident in their chances to win the AFC Championship game, they displayed a billboard counting down to Ray Lewis’ retirement party, an obvious reference to Lewis plans to retire after the season. Lewis’ career, however, did not end on Sunday as his Ravens were convincing 28-14 winners over the New England Patriots. So what do you do when you know you made a mistake? You admit defeat and take the lumps that you deserve, and that is exactly what happened in regards to the billboard. You can see below the new look billboard, which features the word ‘Welp,’ as well as a face with egg on it.
