I’ve played basketball my entire life, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve either stuck the ball between the rim and the backboard — and used my 5’10” white guy hops in mostly failed attempts to dislodge it — or, on rarer occasions, watched the ball settle on the back of the rim.
