Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times reports that Seahawks WR Mike Williams’ foot injury “could be serious.”
The injury was initially called just a sprain, but the Seahawks are taking it on a “day to day” basis while waiting for test results. Williams’ injury is to the bottom of his foot, and coach Pete Carroll called it an “unusual” ailment. When Pete says something is “unusual,” that is usually a sign to worry. The successful resurgence of Mike Williams this year has produced 52 catches and 654 receiving yards, which leads all Seattle WR’s.
