As a child, one of the best things about the holiday season is the Christmas specials on television. Heck as an adult one of the best things about the holiday season is the Christmas specials on television. There are all the classics, of course. Charlie Brown, Rudolph, Frosty, and so on.
Today’s entry is one of those holiday specials that doesn’t get the airtime it should. “Pee-Wee’s Playhouse” was a very underrated Saturday morning show, and the Christmas special is no exception. Right from the opening number you know that you’re in for a great time.
Oh, and Laurence Fishburne (who went by “Larry” at the time) played Cowboy Curtis.
Watch for the special appearance by Magic Johnson as well!
