One of the best things about the holiday season is that you get to watch movies and television specials you haven’t watched for a year. There are a lot of regulars, but today I’m going to touch on one that sometimes gets lost in the shuffle.
“Scrooged”.
Bill Murray plays Frank Cross, a cold-hearted TV executive who is visited by the three ghosts just like, well, Scrooge. It’s honestly one of Bill’s finest comedic performances.
In this clip he’s going over his Christmas gift list with his assistant, all the while firing poor Elliot on Christmas Eve.
My favorite line: “The DICKENS out of people!? NOBODY gets me.”
I know how you feel, Frank.
