J.R. Smith gave a little nod to Victor Cruz following his game winning shot to lead the Knicks over the Bobcats on Wednesday night. Check out below J.R.’s version of Victor Cruz’ salsa touchdown dance while he was heading to the locker room. The tribute wasn’t lost on Victor and he was asked about it on Thursday:
It was good to see, it’s not every day you hit a game-winner and get to salsa on them a little bit.
Cruz said it was only a matter of seconds before his phone “blew up” with messages from friends who saw Smith’s dance.
Cruz immediately texted his old friend, writing “You didn’t have to salsa on them like that. LOL!”
It seems like we have an old fashioned dance off on our hands.
