Following yesterday’s tragic news of Jovan Belcher’s murder-suicide in Kansas City comes another sad story, where a Browns groundskeeper also took his own life at the team’s facilities on Saturday.
The body of Eric Eucker was found hanging in a team storage shed at the Browns training facility in Berea, Ohio late Saturday night. The Browns released the following statement via email following the sad news:
“This is a terrible tragedy and our heartfelt condolences go out to [his] family. [He] was a good friend and colleague, and an outstanding employee. He will be missed by everyone in the Cleveland Browns organization.”
The Browns are on the road to face the Oakland Raiders on Sunday afternoon.
