Philadelphia 76ers power forward Lavoy Allen wasn’t shy about his political leanings during the run-up to Election Night on Tuesday. The second-year player — and teammate of uber-Republican Spencer Hawes — confirmed his support for Mitt Romney via Twitter on Monday.
Sadly for Mr. Allen, his bench-player-level influence didn’t sway enough voters. But rather than cry about election results, he did what any upstanding citizen would do in the face of despair: troll for a date with Stacey Dash. The 45-year-old(!) actress/model/celebrity took a lot of heat recently for her support of Mitt Romney, and after Tuesday’s crushing defeat, Lavoy Allen (23 years old) took advantage of the moment.
