Mascots are one of my favorite parts of going to sporting events. However, I have absolutely no desire to be one. The costumes are hot, you’ve got to be entertaining even if your team sucks, and sometimes you’re the pinata for disgruntled (or drunk) fans.
That may have been the case at a recent Canadian Football League game.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers mascot, Buzz, was tackled by a fan who ran across the field. While it may have been a clean hit, I’m guessing Buzz wasn’t too happy about it.It was reported that Buzz did not sustain any injuries.
As entertaining as this is, this video might be worth it for the commentary alone.
