Arnold Schwarzenegger made some people extremely happy when he announced at the Expendables 2 panel at Comic-Con yesterday that the sequel to him and Danny Devoto’s 1988 movie Twins is officially happening. There aren’t many more details available, but Gawker wrote the following:
Though he provided few details, the aging action star did say that the film’s director, Ivan Reitman, will also be returning, and a writer is currently being sought.
Back in March, The Hollywood Reporterfirst revealed that Universal and Montecito Picture Co. were working on developing a sequel to Twins entitled Triplets which would bring back Schwarzenegger, his co-star Danny DeVito, and introduce Eddie Murphy as their long-lost third brother.
