A chicken who donned a Blackburn flag as a cape which also carried a note that read “out,” invaded the pitch during Blackburn’s EPL match against Wigan today. The “out” referred to the fact that Blackburn was on the bring of relegation, and the chicken caused such a stir that the match needed to be stopped until Wigan’s goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi and Blackburn’s Yakubu were able to capture the bird. As Dirty Tackle pointed out: ‘The fowl was likely released as a protest against Blackburn’s unpopular owners, Indian poultry company Venky’s.’
