The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a Derek Lowe’s 2004 Boston Red Son World series trophy and championship ring. The goods were swiped allegedly from Derek’s Fort Myers home.
A housekeeper told investigators on Friday someone had broken into the residence in fort Myers and took the ‘ring, trophy, necklaces, and women’s shoes and purses.’ Lowe’s goods were valued around $90,000. You would have to think the thief knew that he would be going after the trophy and ring, right?
Derek Lowe is currently pitching for the Cleveland Indians in the MLB.
