Kentucky and Louisville go to battle in the Final Four on Saturday. This is a huge in-state rivalry, and arguably the biggest game ever between the two schools. This game means so much to the state of Kentucky that Churchill Downs’ iconic twin spires have been lit up in red and blue to symbolize the monumental matchup.
Staying neutral was probably a smart decision for Churchill Downs. If they would’ve chosen a side, those spires probably wouldn’t be intact by next week. Here’s a look at how the spires usually appear, and their new look this week:
