Arian Foster of the Houston Texans was deservedly rewarded yesterday with a five-year, $43.5 million contract with $20.75 million guaranteed. He’ll make $18 million in base salary next season, plus incentives. Foster was an undrafted free agent in 2009, and made only $525,000 last season. Arian then led the NFL in rushing in 2010 with 1,616 yards and ran for 1,224 yards and 10 touchdowns last season. To put that in perspective, Arian will make more money by the end of his first game this upcoming season than he did in all of last year.
