Former New York Knicks bad boy, Charles Oakley has a cooking show? After hearing Oakley on the Jim Rome show yesterday rip anyone and everyone I decided to do some research and found this gem from 2008.
According to an old article by our friends at Black Sports Online:
Charles Oakley, best known as a defensive presence on the Knicks when they weren’t the lackluster team then eventually became, has a straight- to- the- web cooking program called “Cafe Oakley”. Most of the general public doesn’t know but Charles is quite the chef thanks to his mother who cooked soul food for many NBA players through the years from MJ to Scottie Pippen and everyone in between. Anyways here’s a trailer for “Cafe Oakley” that features various guests one of the more noticeable ones is former Knick teammate John Starks.
This is glorious.
