Last Wednesday, the Mexican Army in Guadalajara found 15 tons of pure methamphetamine worth a reported $4 billion. One pound of “the crank” sells for about $15,000 in the US. To give you an example of how big this meth bust was, a total of 30 tons was seized in the entire year of 2009. There was nobody found at the ranch where the large barrels of white and yellow powder were found, but it is believed that the Mexican drug cartel, Sinaloa, was involved.
