Had Stanford’s sophomore kicker Jordon Williamson made the 35 yard kick at the end of regulation, Stanford would have gone on to get a huge Fiesta Bowl win against Oklahoma State. But it didn’t work out that way. Williamson missed his 3rd kick of the evening and the Cowboys went on to win in overtime.
The young man from Austin, TX had only missed 3 field goals all year, but things just didn’t go his way on Monday night. Stanford fans used social media to show that they still have his back with the newly minted “We Still Love You Jordan Williamson” facebook page. The page is quickly being friended by Stanford students, alums, faculty and overall well wishers.
