The Cincinnati Bengals had arguably the most frustrating season in the NFL this season. After a slow start to the season, the Bengals won their final five games of the year.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to overcome the disastrous opening to the season, and Cincinnati wasn’t able to capitalize on getting a tremendous year from star quarterback Joe Burrow.

Adding to the unease in Cincinnati has been the thought that this may have been the last season where Burrow has his two top targets in wide receivers Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase.

While that situation has yet to resolve itself, the Bengals have successfully re-signed one of Burrow’s other pass-catching weapons.

“We signed TE Cam Grandy to a one-year contract extension through the 2025 season,” the Bengals reported from their official Twitter account on Tuesday.

In the 2024 season, Grandy hauled in five catches for 28 yards across eight appearances. Fans reacted to the news of Grandy’s extension on social media.

“Great pickup for cheap to help block with the tackles. Also caught some great throws this year,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

Oh yeah great .. what about (Tee Higgins) and Jamarr !!!!!! Get that done .. and Hock,” one fan added.

“I had no idea who this guy was but he made a few made a few decent plays down the stretch,” one fan added.

“yes let’s keep the guy who had 4 false starts in one game, yes let’s resign this tight end before gisecki!!” another fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see if deals follow for Higgins and/or Chase.
