Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been together for well over a year at this point, but it sounds like their relationship is about to be tested in a way that it has not been tested up to this point.
According to a report from Us Weekly, Taylor Swift is planning to spend some time out of the public eye resting after her Eras Tour finally comes to a close this month.
“Taylor’s exhausted,” a source told Us Weekly on Tuesday. “She’s excited for some relaxation and downtime.”
This also means that she will have a lot of time to spend with Travis Kelce.
“Taylor plans to stay in and hibernate [with Travis] for a while,” the insider told the outlet.
While the two of them have indeed been dating for over a year, they have not exactly had a lot of downtime to spend together.
That means this time together will be an especially important test.
“They want to do ‘normal things’ as a couple,” a second source told the outlet. “Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together because [that’s when] the little nuances about someone’s personality and habits come into play. They will learn so much about each other.”
In fact, it sounds like their future together could hinge on how this next stage in their relationship goes.
“A lot of it hinges on what happens over the next year with Travis,” the second source told Us Weekly. “She’s told her team to give her one year to see how things go in her personal life.”
Clearly, this is an important test for them. We’ll have to see how they handle it.
