Josh Allen has hit his stride lately. The superstar Buffalo Bills quarterback is once again playing at an MVP-caliber level. After several years of playing elite football, the former first-round pick has come around this season. He might be putting his best season to date together, and is emerging as the NFL MVP favorite. Also, he’s now engaged to Hailee Steinfeld.
The All-Pro quarterback and Academy Award-nominated actress announced their engagement over the weekend on Instagram. The couple had been dating for over a year, went earlier this year, and are now officially set to be wed.
After Allen’s prodigious performance in a win over the San Francisco 49ers, a reporter asked Allen about the big news. The Buffalo star kept it short and sweet, holding back a bit amid a busy and exciting weekend.

“Felt good, felt free,” Allen said with a laugh. Allen then got up and walked away from the podium to conclude his night at the office.
Certainly, this wasn’t in poor taste or tone. It’s understandable that someone’s going to ask that question, and Allen’s answer was respectfully dismissive. Allen and Steinfeld’s relationship hasn’t gotten the publicity of, to juxtapose, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Oftentimes, that’s by design. So it’s no surprise that Allen’s keeping things under wraps for the moment.
Steinfeld is set to star in an upcoming Ryan Coogler film entitled Sinners with Michael B. Jordan. She is also of course expected to resume her role as Spider-Gwen in the popular Spider-Verse trilogy when the next and final installment is finally released.
Allen and the Bills will continue to pursue the top seed in the AFC. They pulled off a huge win over the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this season. That win could help set the wheels in motion for Buffalo.
