Taylor Swift is a billionaire who can afford to buy pretty much anything her heart desires. And as Jason Kelce points out, that might make things a little difficult this holiday season.
During an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Thursday night, Jason Kelce was asked about potential holiday gifts for his brother Travis Kelce and his superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift.
The question forced Jason Kelce to admit a pretty brutal truth when it comes to the idea of giving Taylor Swift gifts: she can buy anything she ever wants.
“It’s tough to shop for people that can have anything that they want,” Kelce admitted.
As a result, Kelce suggested that he might have to make the power couple something handmade
“You got to go to handmade gifts. Something sentimental, maybe, that’s near and dear to them,” Kelce said.
And Kelce has an idea of what that homemade gift might be.
“I’ve never done it, but I think it could work really well. I’ve gotten something up my sleeve this year,” Jason said. “A macaroni necklace? It works on me with my kids — very well.”
Kimmel pointed out that if he did this, it might accidentally start a trend.
“It would be funny if you made Taylor a macaroni necklace and then all of the sudden millions of girls are wearing macaroni necklaces,” Kimmel joked.
“Friendship macaroni necklaces? Maybe we just started a trend,” Kelce replied.
We’ll have to see whether or not Kelce follows through with this plan.
