The Cincinnati Bengals can’t seem to get things on track.
The Bengals suffered their seventh loss of the season on Sunday night to the Los Angeles Chargers, losing 34-27. At 4-7, the Bengals’ playoff hopes are hanging on by a thread. Star quarterback Joe Burrow addressed things after the game, and suffice it to say he is not happy.
“Just got to make the plays. Just got to make the plays,” Burrow said, via the team’s official website.
“We have it down the stretch and we’re not a good enough team to – our margin of error is slim, so we got to make those plays. I got to make those plays. We all got to make those plays.”
Burrow was asked if he thought the team could make the playoffs, and he didn’t seem very optimistic.
“Hope so.
“I guess we’ll find out. We know where we’re at. I’m not happy with where we’re at. I don’t think anybody is, but all you can do is come back tomorrow and try to get better.”
Burrow even admitted that this has been the most frustrating season of his career, which is surprising considering it’s arguably the healthiest he’s been in his career.
Hopefully, Burrow and the Bengals can turn things around before his discontentment leads to new problems.
