Dallas Cowboys star quarterback Dak Prescott suffered a hamstring injury in the Cowboys’ loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Now there’s news that it’s a significant injury.
“QB Dak Prescott is expected to miss multiple weeks because of the hamstring injury he suffered in Sunday’s loss at Atlanta, sources tell me and (Ian Rapoport). No decision yet on whether to place Dak on injured reserve. But it’s worse than expected and it will be a bit,” tweeted NFL insider Tom Pelissero,” reported NFL insider Tom Pelissero.

Fans reacted to the news that backup quarterback Cooper Rush figures to be the guy moving forward.
“Honestly the Cowboys are fools if they don’t play Trey Lance at this point (all due respect to Cooper Rush) They traded for him. This is an actual and literal chance to see what he has. In a contract year. What do they have to lose at this point? They know who Rush is,” one fan said on Twitter.
“Reminder that Cooper Rush is 22-8 in his career,” tweeted the official DraftKings account.
“Cooper Rush played 1 quarter and his stats almost the same as Dak,” one fan added.
“Daniel Jones vs Cooper Rush at 4:30 on Thanksgiving Nap time it is,” said one fan.
It’s not an ideal situation for the Cowboys, but Rush has shown flashes at points in his career.
