The Dallas Cowboys are 3-5 and the vibes around the organization are as bleak as they’ve ever been.

According to one league insider, the energy in Dallas is set to get even worse. Quarterback Dak Prescott exited Sunday’s loss tot the Atlanta Falcons early after injuring his hamstring. There was hope after the game that the injury wouldn’t be too severe, and now we have news on where things stand moving forward.

“Cowboys QB Dak Prescott’s hamstring injury was worse than initially feared. He is expected to miss multiple weeks, sources tell me and (Tom Pelissero). In fact, this is not looking like a short-term injury. Cooper Rush is the team’s backup.” reported prominent insider Ian Rapoport on Monday.

Fans reacted to the devastating news on social media.

“The cowboys were gonna lose to the eagles regardless,” one fan said on social media.

“Maybe paying him $60M was a mistake?” one fan added.

“Cowboys season was already not looking good, now it’s looking completely over,” one fan added.

“Brutal season for the Dallas Cowboys continues,” one fan added.

“He isn’t hurt lmao… cowboys just don’t want dak to look like the problem,” one fan speculated.

“Give it 10 minutes and Jerry Jones will be saying how much he believes in these guys to come back from this and win the super bowl (being 3-9),” one fan added.

“It’s looking more and more like a lost season for the Dallas Cowboys,” one fan added.

In what’s been a disaster of a season for Dallas, things just keep getting worse.
