The Cincinnati Bengals were able to inch closer to a winning record after defeating the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
Unfortunately, per one prominent league insider, it was a costly victory. So costly in fact, that it may prevent the team from reaching the playoffs entirely.
“Bengals HC Zac Taylor said TE Erick All Jr. suffered a torn ACL,” reported ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Monday.
To make matters worse for Cincinnati, Schefter also reported that they’d be down a running back moving forward. “And Zac Taylor also said RB Zack Moss is out indefinitely due to his neck injury,” he reported.

All’s absence is a major loss for quarterback Joe Burrow, who’d been depending on All more and more in the passing game. All was also an elite blocker, meaning the Bengals rushing attack figures to take a step back as well.
Fans reacted to the unfortunate development on social media.
“Tough break for All. He was looking like a future star at TE,” one fan said on Twitter.
“That’s unfortunate news for All Jr. and the Bengals. Wishing him a speedy recovery,” one fan added.
“Just another injury for the team. Maybe management should make a move in the next 24 hours. Won’t but wish they would,” one fan added.
“Really have to feel for Erick All, wishing him a speedy recovery. Same ACL twice in 13 months is heartbreaking,” one fan added.
“This dude has been through it all man…. Feel for him,” added a fan.
The Bengals seem unable to catch a break in what has already been an extremely taxing season for players and fans.
