Following Sunday night’s win over the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers star pass rusher Nick Bosa crashed his teammates’ postgame interview on Sunday Night Football to draw attention to his “Make America Great Again” hat in support of Donald Trump.
It’s pretty clear that Colin Kaepernick’s girlfriend did not appreciate his antics.
In a post on her Instagram story on Tuesday night, Colin Kaepernick’s longtime girlfriend Nessa Diab shared a clip of Nick Bosa interrupting the interview while adding a pretty clear message for Bosa.
“#IMWITHKAP, #STILLWITHKAP,” Nessa wrote according to The Spun.
Kaepernick has obviously been a strong opponent of Donald Trump throughout his playing career and in retirement.
So with this statement, Diab is making it pretty clear that she does not support Bosa’s antics.
Bosa did not elaborate on his statement after the game.
“I’m not gonna talk too much about it,” Bosa told reporters. “But I think it’s an important time.”
Kaepernick has not played in the league since 2016 when he went unsigned following his protests during the national anthem.
Though he has made several efforts to try to return to the league since 2016, he has not been able to secure a chance with any team.
