The Cleveland Browns are watching everything fall apart.
It’s not enough that the Browns are sitting at 1-6, which is the worst record in the NFL. The Browns also lost Deshaun Watson, their $230 million quarterback for the year due to an Achilles injury suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
It doesn’t stop there. Backup quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson went down in relief, and the Browns were forced to put in emergency quarterback Jameis Winston.
Now with the quarterback room in flux, the Browns have made their final call on who they’re going to bolster their forces.
“A new QB in Cleveland: The (Browns) are signing Bailey Zappe off the (Chiefs) practice squad, per sources,” NFL insider Tom Pelissero tweeted on Tuesday.
Fans weren’t too thrilled about the news online.
“Well… this isn’t exactly who I thought was an option but I guess. It shows what the organization sees for this season. And I agree this season is over,” one fan said on Twitter.
“Franchise is crumbling,” a fan added.
“It’s officially over,” one fan added.
“Burn the organization down or move it or idk. Just make it stop,” one fan added.
“A WHITE QB !!??” one fan said.
Things are bad in Cleveland. There isn’t much else to say about it.
