Things have shaped up for a star-studded 2024 World Series, and not just meaning the players.

The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the New York Mets in the NLCS on Sunday to take the series 4-2. The Dodgers will face the Yankees in the World Series, in what should be a classic matchup of the country’s two biggest cities, celebrity destinations, and baseball teams.

Stars and celebrities have already been in attendance for the games. Scarlett Johansson was spotted earlier in the series supporting the Mets, and now it looks like the Dodgers celebrity fans are looking to send back a message that they support their team as well.

Tom Hanks and his son Chet were spotted at the Dodgers’ series-clinching win, with Chet wearing a Dodger hat in their suite.

As great as it is to see Hanks supporting his favorite team, it’s even better to see him sticking by his son’s side. Chet has accumulated numerous negative headlines over the years and can’t seem to stay out of trouble, but at least he knows his dad will always be there by his side.

Fans reacted to the pair’s appearance on social media.

It’s crazy how quickly I stopped caring about Tom Hanks the moment I discovered Chet,” one fan said on Twitter in response to seeing the two.

“The NLCS broadcast putting up Tom Hanks‘ name but not Chet‘s is real white boy slander,” another fan said.

Watching the dodgers game with a group and we all shouted and pointed “chet!!!!” when they showed tom hanks in the stands,” a fan added.

Tom Hanks has his son Chet with him at the Dodgers game. If we lose, he needs to get deported,” one fan added.

It’s great to see how many celebrities are already out for the baseball games, and it’ll be interesting to see who else comes out for the World Series.
