Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns have been nothing short of a disaster this season.
The Browns lost again on Sunday, this time getting blown out by the Washington Commanders 34-13. It was an abysmal performance, and Watson was one of the Browns’ biggest problems throughout the game.
Watson missed easy throws seemingly every drive and finished with a measly stat line of 15-for-28 with 125 yards and one touchdown. Watson’s showing was just as bad by advanced metrics as well.
Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com provided some extra context on Watson’s QBR from the loss to Washington on Twitter.
“Deshaun Watson finished with a QBR of 8.6 today — the second time this season he has had a single-digit QBR. His best QBR thru 5 games this is season is 37.1. To put that in perspective, Watson’s best game is rated worse than now-benched Gardner Minshew’s overall QBR.”

Fedor isn’t the only one to notice how bad Wastson has been. Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw also spoke about Watson while covering Sunday’s games for Fox, and the Browns’ need to move on from him.
“Do you put Watson down now? He has not played well since he’s been in Cleveland. Simply has not played well.”

Bradshaw’s cohosts laughed off his harsh language, but it’s clear there’s a real problem with Watson and Clevland. It’ll be interesting to see if the Browns decide to finally bench him and move on.
