Kansas City Chiefs superstars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have been teammates for many years and seem to have a strong connection with each other both on and off the field. But apparently, that doesn’t mean they can spend every day together.
During a recent interview, Patrick Mahomes sent a pretty brutal message to Travis Kelce as he said that he couldn’t be with the star wide receiver for more than two days at a time, especially when they are playing golf together.
“I’m going to stay away from Travis,” Mahomes told SiriusXM NFL Radio of them playing golf, according to Marca.com. “He gets me off my game.
“Gets me off my game. He’s a bad influence. By Day Three I’m just like, ‘I can’t be with him for more than two days.'”
Thankfully for the Kansas City Chiefs, this does not seem to apply to the football field as the two have emerged as one of the most lethal offensive combinations in the history of the NFL in recent years, winning the Super Bowl in back-to-back seasons.
We’ll have to see whether or not they can make history by becoming the first team to win the Super Bowl three times in a row.
