Earlier this month, reports surfaced that Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelce was gearing up to propose to girlfriend Taylor Swift as the two approach their one-year dating anniversary. But it sounds like he is denying those reports.
Page Six reported last week that Travis Kelce is preparing to pop the question to Taylor Swift, citing an inside source close to the situation.
“The engagement is happening soon,” the inside source told Page Six.
Page Six also reported that there’s some speculation that the couple is actually already engaged privately and is simply waiting to make it more public.
“On Thursday night at a Kansas City concert by country star Morgan Wallen, we hear that the wife of a top Chiefs exec was overheard telling pals in a suite that the team’s famed tight end and Swift are already engaged,” Page Six reported.
However, according to Kelce, none of this is true.
Page Six reached out to Kelce and his representatives for comment regarding their story, and the representatives flatly denied that there were any engagement plans in the future.
“Kelce’s rep denied Friday that there are any official engagement plans in place,” Page Six reported.
While that’s a pretty firm denial from Kelce, it’s unlikely to shut down all of the rumors.
