The Michigan Wolverines will have a new head coach this season after Jim Harbaugh left the team to become the next head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers after leading Michigan to a national title last season. But just because he’ll be coaching in the NFL doesn’t mean that he won’t be supporting Michigan and new head coach Sherrone Moore however he can.
During a recent press conference, Sherrone Moore revealed that he has been staying in contact with Jim Harbaugh and that the former coach has been giving him advice.
“I just talked to him about two days ago and just continue to say do you, because it was working and continues to work,” Sherrone Moore said. “So, for me, he’s always himself. He’s always going to tell me the truth and I’ll talk to him as often as possible.”
Moore said that Harbaugh is always willing to help whenever Moore feels like he needs it, and Moore intends to use him as a resource in his first year as the team’s head coach.
“He told me his phone is there and he’s just waiting to be counted on,” Moore said. “So, I’m excited to call him again soon.”
