Earlier this month, the Donald Trump campaign announced that Trump was pulling out of the previously scheduled debates against the Democratic nominee after Joe Biden ended his campaign and allowed Vice President Kamala Harris to challenge Trump instead. And Stephen A. Smith is calling him out for it.
On Tuesday, Kamala Harris asked Donald Trump to reconsider his stance and challenged him to debate her.
“Donald, I do hope you’ll reconsider to meet me on the debate stage,” Harris said Tuesday night. “Because as the saying goes, if you got something to say, say it to my face!”
And following Harris’ challenge, Stephen A. Smith made it clear that he thinks Trump should be willing to debate Harris if he was willing to debate Biden.

“Amen, [Kamala Harris]. Amen! If [Donald Trump] said he’d debate [Joe Biden] anyplace, anywhere, as many times as he’d allow, the same should apply to the VP! That’s what it’s all about. I think there should be at least 3 debates between Trump and the VP. At least 3. We’ll see if it happens,” Smith said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
We’ll have to see whether or not Trump takes up the challenge.
