Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has been quite supportive of the relationship between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, and he recently expressed his support for their romance once again as he made it clear that he thinks it is good for both of them.
During a recent interview on the new “Scoop City” football broadcast from The Athletic, Andy Reid claimed that the relationship is actually good for Kelce because it can serve as a “great escape” for him where he doesn’t have to be the star and can simply be her “waterboy” at her concerts.
“I think it’s great for him. He can handle it,” Reid said. “As a matter of fact, I think he probably loves it to a point. I think there’s a great escape for him. I said that about Taylor, too. I mean, she comes to the game, she can kind of escape having to be the show. When he goes to her concerts, she’s the star. He can be hanging out there and be the support or the waterboy, so he can do that.”
Obviously, Swift is the far more famous one in the relationship, but Kelce seems to be embracing that. And Reid seems to think it’s a good change of pace for him.
