On Saturday evening, former United States President Donald Trump was shot in the ear during a rally in Pennsylvania, but he quickly rose to his feet to pump his fist to the crowd to make it clear that he was safe. And it sounds like he has the support of one prominent college football quarterback.
According to Joseph Manero on social media, Texas Longhorns young star quarterback Arch Manning took to social media shortly after the incident to share a now-famous photo of Donald Trump pumping his fist to the crowd with an American flag in the background and blood dripping down from his ear.
Manero shared a screenshot of the post from Manning on social media.

It appears that Manning deleted the post from social media shortly after, but multiple people have claimed to have seen the post before it was deleted and the screenshots of the post still exist.
Manning does not speak publicly all that often and has not shared his political views publicly. However, his uncle Peyton Manning is a longstanding supporter of the Republican party and has made sizable donations to multiple Republican candidates over the years.
Arch Manning is entering this season as the backup to returning starting quarterback Quinn Ewers, who also expressed his support for Donald Trump on social media.
