Texas Longhorns young superstar quarterback Arch Manning was not expected to be featured in the upcoming EA Sports College Football video game that releases later this month, but it sounds like he has changed his mind.
On Tuesday, Arch Manning announced that he will indeed be included in the upcoming video game as he shared a video with his uncle Eli Manning announcing the news.
“I’m IN the game,” Arch Manning said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

This is a rather shocking decision because earlier this year, it was reported that Arch Manning had chosen not to opt into the video game as he was “focused on playing football on the field.”
Arch clearly has changed his mind, and he made reference to that previous report in the video.
In the video, Eli Manning reads a play call to his younger nephew before the camera switches to Arch.
“Are you sure about this?” Arch asked Eli.
“Absolutely! This is the best way to focus on football,” Manning said in the video.
Needless to say, this shocking announcement from Manning led to a lot of reactions on social media

I don't fault the kid at all for saying he wouldn't be in the game because he didn't want to be a distraction, only to brilliantly use his famous last name to film a commercial.
But it hilarious. https://t.co/kub1uAH8Mo

The game is set to officially release to the public on July 19.
