Bronny James has received a lot of criticism from the fans and media after he was selected in the second round by the Los Angeles Lakers with people suggesting the only reason he was selected was because he was the son of LeBron James. But it doesn’t sound like he is all that worried about that criticism.
During a recent interview, LeBron James questioned whether or not people really understood Bronny James as he made it very clear that Bronny does not care at all about any of the criticism he receives.
“I don’t know if people really understand Bronny,” James told ESPN. “He doesn’t care. I actually care a little bit. When I came in [as a rookie], I wanted people to like me, and some of the things that people were saying about me kind of bothered me early on in my career. … He doesn’t give a [expletive].
“He does not care about nobody. He doesn’t even listen to that stuff. He’s like the coolest. He’s like the complete opposite of his dad. His dad will say something [to address the critics]. Bro does not care. … Everything that’s being said about him, he really does not care.”
Obviously, this would seem like a good approach for Bronny to take considering the criticism is unlikely to stop anytime soon.
